Universal App

Hello,

I cannot reference the library in a universal app because of Autofac. Is there someone who succeeded with an universal app?

The used version of Autofac is not available for WP 8.1 ...

Thanks,
Adrien.

Hi,

I am not sure what you mean by universal app. Tweetinvi is a 100% portable class library. All the dependencies are portable class libraries.
You should therefore be able to use this project in any .NET solution.

Please let me know what is wrong. Exceptions and logs would be a good way to start.

I mean that : https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/dn609832.aspx
The easiest thing to reproduce the error is to create a new blank universal app and trying to add the nuget package.

I can't reference the package in both projects (windows and windows phone 8.1).

I have created a Work Item for this issue.

I think you only have to replace the Autofac package you used in the library with a newer version and that's it.

I'm running into this issue as well. I tried to install the dependencies separately and then retrying the Tweetinvi install.
This worked for Autofac, Newtonsoft.json and Microsoft.Bcl.Async, but NOT for PCLWebUtility (1.0.2)

I will get rid of the PCLWebUtility.

This issue is now resolved in Tweetinvi 0.9.5.0.
You can now download the Source Code and use it in your app.
